Healthy Rooms is an innovative program being pioneered by Crothall Healthcare, bringing multiple departments together to work towards total room care on a daily basis.

The program is centered around an annual standardized protocol requiring completion of a 40-point room refurbishment, and the daily activities of the Health Rooms Rapid Response Team.

The Rapid Response Team, composed of the Bed Control, IT, PT, EVS, and FM departments, is prepared to act at the time of discharge. If quick cosmetic fixes (25 minutes or less) are noted for a room on the checklist, the system triggers a notification to FM when the room is empty and being prepared for a new patient.

With the Healthy Rooms program, every room is not only updated annually, each is also cared for by EVS and FM personnel in a synchronous way, broadening the scope of our EVS program's focus on aesthetics and creating a notably more pleasing environment for patient care.
