Crothall EVS Joins Mission in Haiti

Florida Hospital EVS workers landed in Port au Prince, Haiti, on Sunday, June 5, to begin a special kind of mission work at Adventist Hospital. Led by Crothall Healthcare Regional Manager Mark Giuliani, 4 housekeepers from the Orlando and 2 from the Winter Park campuses volunteered to help establish safe environmental service practices in the recovering earthquake-torn country. What they experienced, 18 months after the earthquake, was a country still struggling. Housekeepers Vernon Roberts and Ginette LaPlante both speak about the conditions the group encountered. With their work still cut out for them, Florida Hospital News will continue their coverage in another installment to come.
