Make A Difference

Everyone experiences bad days, but for the elderly, bad days have a way of snowballing. Escorted to a doctor’s appointment by her somewhat less elderly son, a 94-year-old woman experienced an extremely embarrassing accident and didn’t know where to turn for help. Arriving at the scene, Angela Knight quickly determined that the son was at a loss and didn’t know what to do; that is when Angela came to the rescue. She compassionately took matters into her own hands, cleaning and redressing the woman in the bathroom, immediately restoring dignity and comfort to both woman and son. Angela went above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating that her role as Team Lead included caring about all those with whom she came in contact. She is a great example for everyone in the hospital.
