Make A Difference

Spending her own time and money to inspire her patients is just one way Building Attendant Tenesha Smith goes above and beyond the call of duty. After checking on a patient that had been depressed and crying, Tenesha took time to go off campus during her lunch time to purchase flowers. Soon they were in a beautiful vase in the patient’s room. “Tenesha bought me these flowers Sunday. They really helped,” the patient told Supervisor Ann Perryman on her patient survey rounds, with family members happily agreeing.

“Tenesha routinely checks on her patients during the day to accommodate any needs they have and to make their stays pleasant. Her continuous smile reaches out to her patients and the staff that have contact with her. She exemplifies Crothall’s value of Leadership.”
