From the CEO

The 2007 fiscal year is coming to a rapid close and I am most excited about the many great things we have accomplished. We expect to finish the year with double digit growth and a greater than 99% customer retention rate. Thanks to each of you for your positive contributions in helping the company achieve its objectives.

There are many things that I would like to share with you in this issue, the most exciting being the visit we received from the leaders of our parent company, Compass Group. Richard Cousins, CEO of Compass Group PLC and Gary Green, CEO of Compass North America, spent a day with us at the beginning of June. They left with an even more favorable impression of Crothall than they already had. They are very pleased with our current performance and our future strategy.

It seems that it is difficult to turn on the evening news or open a newspaper these days without reading about the latest trends and threats we face on the healthcare front. We'll share how our organization has been at ground zero in some of the largest public health challenges facing our nation, and just how we've successfully supported our clients through them. Experience does matter when faced with issues such as these, and I am proud to say that our systems, approaches, and people were up to the challenge.

We're going to continue our discussion regarding patient flow issues, as well as share our unique 9-step approach to Facilities Management. Also in this issue, you will meet four exceptional Crothall employees who continue to "Make a Difference" in everything that they do for our clients. I am so very proud of each one of these individuals.
